Welcome!

The College Park Church of God Young (at heart!) Adults small group is targeted at families with children of all ages or post-college-age singles who desire fellowship and to seek God's truth for daily application in life. We try to schedule one group activity each month, meet each week at 6:00pm for Sunday PM Bible Study, and usually meet up afterward at a local restaurant for food and fellowship.

Some of our monthly group activities in the past have included dinner/movie night, food/games at the church, miniature golf, Huntsville Star's games, bowling, Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, Six Flags Amusement Park, and Atlanta Braves games. Our upcoming events will include nights out for the ladies and men, paintball, golf, grill-outs and other fun activities. We are even planning a Carribean cruise for mid-2010!

Our small group Bible study usually consists of around twenty folks, both couples and singles. We are about to finish a multi-week study based on Robert Morris' series "My Best Friend the Holy Spirit". Our class format centers around facilitated group discussion and exploration regarding the scriptures being studied that week. We try to take God's word, discuss it to learn from each other, and ultimately determine the most effective way to apply it to our lives to serve our God and get us and our families to heaven.
